I want my Gaely Back!

I've come so far Happy 50+ episode to me Runningman! (yeah it's more than 400 episode IKR! but i'm in the mood to write so.)

I remember it was last year when my friend asked me if I'm watching runningman and i was yeah but that time i am watching runningman but only selected few episodes whenever i feel watching it mostly funny moments of  Lee Kwang Soo or if i know their guest e.g Gong Yoo and Park Seo Joon! I wasn't into Running Man at all, laughed at all my friends who were mad crazy about the show and preferred to remain in my warm, safe and ultimately ignorant cocoon. I didn't even know who Gary was, more so care about whether or not he's leaving Runningman. Never heard of Monday Couple sucks right?

My Forever "MONDAY COUPLE"
but Karma is a bitch! I've come to love every single cast of runningman. I've laughed and laughed at their silliness and followed their relationships with each other. I would watch several episodes of Runningman in a day, finishing up almost 100 episodes within almost 2 months, I have become the person I used to laugh at, a true blue Korean runningman freak.

I know it is too late to react now. Gary left, got married and have a son but i can't help myself. I never thought I would feel sad over a guy I didn't know anything about until some 2 months ago.  I didn't know Gary is part of that duo rapper called LeeSsang but through Runningman, I began to listen to their music and get to know him better.

Kang Garyshiii 💓
Gary is special. He was a guy whom I had bonded over almost 100 episodes of Runningman, laughing hysterically as he showed off his 'Calm'/ 'Peaceful' Gary face and innocence ignorance, his cheesy one-liners. I hate to say this but as of this writing i am preparing myself for a major heartbreak i know i will cry hard when i reach Kang Gary's last episode. I can actually watch it now but i don't want to. I want to continue watching the show till i reach to 324 episode when i need to endure pain of Gary's departure and then will see if i can continue to watch it further because runningman without Gary is i think not worth watching!

Gary's last group photo runningman members 7012!
I have grown to love the quirky, cool and adorable rapper in this show. I wish him all the best in his musical career and hope that he will decide to come back to the show as a guest more frequently than not.

First Heartbreak of 2018

01.24.2018 is my suppose flight to the land of OPPAS a.k.a. K-pop Nation. It was supposed to be a 5 days vacation we have planned almost whole year last year. Everyone knows I've been dying to set my foot in the land of the morning calm and that visiting it was a Dream come true for me, but the Universe conspired for me to be part of that thing called " Korean Visa Denied Story." and here is my contribution to it. 😄

Last year April a day after my birthday i spotted a not so expensive tickets to Korea i know then that was the perfect time to purchase it "Pa birthday mo na sa sarili mo." (me and my reasoning haha!). To make the long story short me together with my friends booked a flight. We choose January flight because of two things:

First because it is Winter and having to live our whole lives in a  tropical country like Philippines Winter season could be more exciting, Second It was my friend's birthday and it would be nice to celebrate it with  Soju at the street side tent on a cold winter night. (I want to cry now).

Ganito sana kami pero denied ako haha!

As a Filipino traveler, you might ask where I’ve been. I've been to 2 countries already including Japan. But then,  it’s useless. Sad.

Well, maybe it is not my time to be in South Korea. for now I’ll just say goodbye to my wasted ticket, will never experience snow but i won't give up on us hahaha!  I will just eat Korean food here and maybe i'll go to snow world Star City for Snow Lol!

Night at the Museum : The third and final movie

Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb was a fun ride just like the first two, it has some awesome surprises. It's the third and final movie-at least according to Ben-in the Night at the Museum franchise.

the scene with Robin Williams and Ben Stiller wrap up moment almost had me in tears. It was like Robin Williams himself was saying goodbye not just to Ben Stiller but to us, yes you the people.

Seeing the late Robin Williams as Theodore Roosevelt, one last time made me realize how
funny he was and how much he'll be missed

Overall I found this film to be really funny and really entertaining. If you are a fan of Ben Stiller or  the late Robin Williams then check it out!!

"Gone Girl" Intensely Disturbs

I happened to spent my Friday Night watching the Advance Screening of Gone Girl ( October 3, 2014). I say it is perfectly disturbing in a manner that you will love haha! I might sound weird but having to read the novel first before watching it,  Job well done. Gone Girl is a great Crime Novel interpreted perfectly on the Big Screen! You'll Enjoy the Blood, the twist, the story and Ben Affleck haha. It can also  mess with your head, you'll need to process everything that is happening. Rosamund Pike proved again herself as a good actress having to play a very convincing role as Amy Dunne a wife, writer and a psychopath. She really deserve a Best Actress award in the coming awards season.

 (Plot) Wikipedia

On the day of his fifth wedding anniversary, Nick Dunne (Affleck) returns home to find that his wife Amy (Pike) is missing. Her disappearance creates a media frenzy, and his awkward behavior and lies surrounding the marriage are interpreted by the media and public as characteristics of a sociopath, implicating him for her apparent murder. Flashback sequences told from Amy's perspective reveal the disintegration of their once-happy marriage: They both lose their jobs during the recession and Amy has to move away from her beloved New york City home to stay in Nick's hometown of North Carthage Missouri when his mother is diagnosed with cancer. Nick, meanwhile, has become lazy, distant, and unfaithful to Amy. Detective Rhonda Boney (Dickens) finds that Nick knows surprisingly little about his wife's day-to-day life, including that she is pregnant. She also uncovers evidence indicating financial troubles and domestic disputes, as well as a report indicating Amy wanted to purchase a gun. As this evidence mounts against him, Nick becomes the prime suspect.

I want your Doll

In many ways Annabelle is creepier than the The Conjuring. Having to watch it in FRONT ROWS of the cinema, yeah! one brave soul! thanks to my friend Sybil for leaving her eye glasses. So as we (Me, Hammy and Ybi) walked into the cinema,  we're so confident and we  knew exactly what we were getting into.
And then the movie begun. Upon  seeing the doll my  first reaction was to look for the nearest fireplace to burn her and asked myself why someone find her pretty enough to keep. At first the movie for me is quite boring (hindi naman nakakatakot talaga) but  there is one particular scene in the movie that scares the Hell out of me. (Spoiler Alert the Elevator scene). I can't get the "thing"  i saw out  of my head easily.

Plot (Wikipedia)

John Gordon has found the perfect gift for both his pregnant wife Mia and their unborn child; Annabelle, a beautiful and rare vintage doll in a pure white wedding dress. Unfortunately, the family's delight with the doll is short-lived. On one horrific night, their home is invaded by members of a satanic cult, who violently attack John and Mia. Spilled blood and terror are not all they leave behind. The cultists have conjured an entity, which is so malevolent that nothing they did will compare to the sinister conduit to the damned that is now Annabelle.

This makes me jump off my seat!

Imagine me screaming Fuck!!!!! Don't Open the Door then shut my eyes for a minute haha!

Thanks  Annabelle for making me scream like a little girl again haha!.
Annabelle was Indeed terrifying!

Gentlemen thief Lupin III

Well, it’s about time that I talk about the movie. Lupin the III movie adaptation is really freaking weird. Honestly i am not a  fan of Lupin but a huge fan of Shun Oguri and that's the reason  why i watched this movie in the first place.
Lupin the III is based on the Popular Manga by Monkey Punch. Oguri Shun takes the lead role as the gentlemen thief Lupin and I’m going to be super honest here. they tried to stay away from the anime as much as possible and the result is Movie Failed but that's not the point right? (in my part at least). As i have said earlier i watched it because of Shun Oguri and i enjoyed him very very much on the big screen.

Best thing about this film they reunite the 3 (f4).

South Korean actor Kim Joon (Boys over Flower)
Taiwanese Actor Jerry Yan (Meteor Garden)  played the role of  Michael Lee

Shun Oguri as Lupin. he also played the role as Shinichi Kudo Detective Conan; Hanazawa Rui       (Hana Yori Dango).Haruhiko Uchiyama (Uchi) of Gokusen.

So if you love Shun Oguri as much as i did! this film is a must watch :)

A-Maze-ing

Last weekend i watched the advance screening of MAZE RUNNER in Greenbelt 3, for me, it's a combination of Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins & Veronica Roth's Divergent. The most impressive thing about The Maze Runner was the adrenaline-fueled plot because no one knows what is going on. They're all inside the changing maze with one goal and that's to FIND A WAY OUT and they need to fight for their lives from the Monster Grievers that's roaming inside the Maze.

The Maze Runner is the first book in a trilogy novel by James Dashner  opens September 17 in Cinemas!
